Intro to Video Game Design (Kodu)
Our most popular camp — build 3D worlds, no experience needed.
Ages 10–14 · Mon–Fri, 9am–4pm · Beginners welcome
The perfect first game-design camp. Using Microsoft Kodu's friendly click-and-drag programming, campers build their own 3D worlds, add characters, and make them come alive — learning the core ideas of game design without getting stuck on syntax.
What campers will do
- Build 3D worlds and shape terrain, water, and paths
- Add characters and program behavior with visual "when… do…" rules
- Design goals, scoring, and win/lose conditions
- Understand the building blocks of every game: input, logic, and feedback
- Playtest and improve their own creation
